[ÃÊµî ¸®µù ½ºÅ¸Æ®] The Gold Axe and the Silver Axe

Once there lived a poor woodcutter.

One day he went to the forest to cut trees. He found a tall tree by the pond.

He began to cut it with his axe.

Unfortunately, the axe flew out of<~¿¡¼ ºüÁ® ³ª°¡´Ù> his hands. It fell into<~¼ÓÀ¸·Î ¶³¾îÁö´Ù> the pond. The woodcutter cried a lot while sitting by the pond. Then an old man came out of the pond.

¡°Why are you crying?¡± asked the old man.

¡°I¡¯ve lost my axe in the pond,¡± said the woodcutter.

¡°Wait a minute,¡± said the old man and sank into<~·Î °¡¶ó¾É´Ù> the pond.

After a while<Àá½Ã ÈÄ>, the old man appeared again.

¡°Is this gold axe yours<³× °Í>?¡± asked the old man.

¡°No, it¡¯s not mine<³» °Í>,¡± said the woodcutter.

¡°Is this silver axe yours?¡± asked the old man.

¡°No, it¡¯s not my axe,¡± said the woodcutter.

The old man showed him another axe.

¡°Then, is this iron axe yours?¡± asked the old man.

¡°Oh, yes, it¡¯s the one that I was looking for<~¸¦ ã´Ù>,¡± said the woodcutter.

The old man gave all the axes to the woodcutter.

¡°Why are you giving all those axes to me?¡± asked the woodcutter.

¡°You are very honest,¡± said the old man. ¡°You deserve to have them all<±×°Íµé ¸ðµÎ>.¡±

The woodcutter went home happily<±â»Ú°Ô ÁýÀ¸·Î °¡´Ù>.
